SEO and local search
On-page foundations, technical basics, Google Business Profile and local signals. No promises about rankings, because nobody can make one honestly.
It is part of the monthly programme. Tell us what you are building and we will say whether it is a fit.
What the work actually is
- Titles and descriptions written for the person reading the result
- Headings and page structure that say what each page is about
- The technical basics: crawlable pages, a sitemap that is true, no accidental noindex
- Structured data that matches what the page visibly says
- Google Business Profile set up properly, where you have a real location
- Consistent business details across the places that list you
How it works
It starts with measurement, because without Search Console there is no way to tell an improvement from a season. What gets changed is decided by what the data says is close rather than by a list of keywords somebody liked.
Most of the early gains are repairs: pages that cannot be crawled, titles that are cut off, descriptions Google had to write itself. Repairs are cheap and they compound.
What this is not
It is not a promise of a position, and it is not links bought in bulk. Nobody can honestly promise a ranking, and the tactics that appear to buy one are the tactics that get sites penalised.
