Client portals and dashboards
A place for your customers to see their account, their documents and their status — and a place for you to see the whole of it at once.
It is part of the monthly programme. Tell us what you are building and we will say whether it is a fit.
What a portal gives your customers
- A signed-in area, so each customer sees their own work and nobody else's
- Documents, invoices and files in one place instead of across an email thread
- Progress on whatever you are doing for them, in terms they understand
- Messages that stay attached to the job they are about
- Access you can revoke the day a relationship ends
How it works
It starts from the questions your customers ask you most often. A portal that answers three of those is worth more than one with twenty screens nobody opens.
Signing in is the point: it is what makes it safe to show somebody their own invoice, and what stops the version where everything is a public link somebody forwarded.
What this is not
It is not a replacement for your accounting system or your CRM. It is a window onto the parts of them your customer should see, which is a much smaller and much safer thing to build.
