Websites, online stores and business systems for Kuwaiti companies, built and maintained for a flat $99 per month. If you are planning to sell online in Kuwait, read the section on KNET before you pay anybody — including us.
KNET decides how your store has to be built
Nearly every debit card issued in Kuwait carries KNET, the domestic network the local banks run between them, and the large majority of online payments in the country go through it. It is the single most important technical fact about selling online in Kuwait, and it is the one most quotes never mention.
What it means in practice:
- An international gateway on its own cannot take a Kuwaiti debit card. Stripe, PayPal and the rest handle Visa and Mastercard. They do not settle KNET. A store wired up with only an international gateway will appear to work perfectly in testing and then turn away most of the customers it was built for.
- KNET needs a merchant account with a participating Kuwaiti bank and a merchant ID issued through it. That is a relationship you hold with your bank, not something a web developer can obtain for you.
- It settles in Kuwaiti dinars and is for Kuwaiti cards. Foreign cards are not part of it, so if you also sell abroad you need both — KNET for local customers and an international gateway alongside it.
- The checkout flow is a redirect. The customer leaves your site for KNET’s page, enters their card there, and returns with the result. That shapes the design, and it is why a “one-page checkout” promise is sometimes a promise nobody can keep here.
We build against whichever gateway your bank gives you, and we will tell you plainly if the combination you have been sold cannot take the payments you need. We are not a payment provider and earn nothing from the choice. Confirm the current requirements and fees with your own bank — this is a description of how the network works, not a quote.
Selling online in Kuwait also requires the appropriate licence from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. We are not licensing agents and quote no fees or timescales for it; what we need to know is whether you have it yet. If you do not, we build the site and leave the checkout switched off until you do.
What it costs
- Monthly programme
- $99 per month against a $299 regular price. Three-month minimum, no setup fee.
- Included
- The build, hosting, the SSL certificate, WordPress and plugin updates, backups, uptime monitoring and the small changes you ask for.
- Specialist work
- A store, a portal, a booking system or an integration is quoted in writing first, and never changes your monthly price.
- Currency
- US dollars. We do not quote in dinars; your bank applies its own conversion.
What we build for Kuwaiti clients
Websites
In English, Arabic, or both — each language on its own URL, so a search engine can tell which version it is reading instead of guessing.
Online stores
Built around KNET from the start rather than bolted onto it afterwards, with an international gateway beside it if you sell outside Kuwait.
Booking and appointments
Real availability and reminders, on a working week that starts on Sunday with Friday allowed for — not an American calendar with the weekend in the wrong place.
Portals and integrations
A signed-in area for your customers, and connections to the CRM, invoicing and calendars you already use.
Arabic
If your customers search in Arabic — and in Kuwait most of them do — an English-only site does not reach them, and a translate widget does not fix it, because the translated text is never indexed as Arabic. We build Arabic as a real version: right-to-left, declared in the markup, each language on its own URL. This page has one: شركة تصميم مواقع في الكويت.
Working with us from Kuwait
- Time difference
- You are seven or eight hours ahead of us, depending on the time of year. Your afternoon is our morning, and that is when we talk.
- Honest about the distance
- We are in New Jersey. Monitoring, hosting, backups and updates are ours to handle around the clock, but we are not a team you can call into the office.
- Languages
- English and Arabic.

We are a small studio with a short client list. There are no invented testimonials or borrowed logos anywhere on this site, and if a job is wrong for us we say so rather than take it.
Questions we get from Kuwait
Can my online store accept KNET?
Yes, and it should be built around KNET from the start rather than bolted onto it afterwards. Nearly every debit card issued in Kuwait carries KNET and the large majority of online payments go through it. An international gateway such as Stripe or PayPal cannot settle KNET on its own, so a store wired up with only one of those will test perfectly and then turn away most of the customers it was built for. KNET needs a merchant account with a participating Kuwaiti bank, which is a relationship you hold with your bank rather than something a developer can obtain for you.
How much does a website cost in Kuwait?
$99 per month against a $299 regular price, with a three-month minimum and no setup fee, covering the build, hosting, the SSL certificate, updates, backups and monitoring. A store, a portal or an integration is quoted in writing first and never changes your monthly price. We price in US dollars, not dinars.
Do you build websites in Arabic?
Yes, as a real version of the site: right to left, the language declared in the markup, and each language on its own URL. A translate widget does not work for search, because the translated text is never indexed as Arabic.
